In Folger copy 22, the edges of [superscript pi]A1-5 are mutilated and repaired, to various extent, without affecting text except at the lower corner of [superscript pi]A3 recto. The text on [superscript pi]A1 verso is surrounded by double red rules. Leaves [superscript pi]A3 and 4 are slightly wormed, affecting text very slightly on A4 recto. The edges of 3d1,2 are mutilated and repaired, to various extent, affecting text at the corners. Port. (on title page) in state 3. Wanting leaf 3d3 and leaf 3d4 (including the colophon). Imperfections affect text on 2n5 and 2z3,4, slightly on B3, C2, 2l6, and 2t6, and very slightly on A2, K5, O5, d2, v5, and 2o4. Water-stained at head and tail throughout. Temp., Two Gent., Merry Wives, and M. for M. (A1 recto-G6 verso) and MND (N1 recto-O3 verso) are annotated in an 18th-cent. hand (chiefly scene designations and entrances and exits), with marginalia on E6 verso and O3 verso (lists of dramatis personae) cropped.
