Leaf a1, blank, lacking. Initials rubricated alternately red and blue; paragraph marks at head of most chapters, often in the same color as the preceeding initial; on leaf a2r, 4-line red initial with brown penwork infill and extensions; red initial with blue penwork at beginning of 2nd book (leaf b8r). Few manuscript notes in brown ink, and finding marks: on leaf b5v ("De predestinatione"), with a manicule; on leaves e4v-e6r ("De effectu peccati") with manicules and underlining, and on leaves g2, k6, and l2. Numbering of books added in upper margin. Manuscript mark of ownership at head of leaf a2r has been erased. Evidence of finding tabs (vellum manuscript waste) on the tail of 1st leaf of each book; one remaining tab on leaf h7. Purchased in 1915.
