Folger-specific note
Folger copy 32 wants [superscript pi]A1, [superscript pi]A1+1 (title leaf), [superscript pi]A5+1.2, and [superscript pi]A6; all are supplied in facsim. except [superscript pi]A6, but the facsim. of [superscript pi]A1 is of the leaf bearing the corresponding text in the 2nd Folio (A1). All leaves after 2z2 (Cymb.) are wanting; supplied in facsim. Also wanting D3.4 (supplied in facsim.); [superscript chi]2g2 (supplied in facsim.); and 2x3.4 (supplied are the leaves bearing the corresponding text in the 3rd Folio [4A1,2]). Surrounding the facsim. leaves D3.4 are bound the leaves bearing the corresponding text in the 3rd Folio (D3.4). Leaves c2 and 2k5 are supplied from another copy of the 1st Folio. Imperfections affect text slightly on 25 leaves and considerably on 8 leaves: A4, I4, n4, q5, t3, 2e3, 2m6, 2v5 (q5 is patched with a piece of the leaf bearing the corresponding text in the 3rd Folio [2U1]). Lee errs in specifying the 2nd Folio, rather than the 3rd, as the source of leaves. See curatorial file for additional information, including variations not recorded here. Occasional manuscript annotations of stage directions, speech prefixes, readings, and dramatis personae. Bookplate of Percy Fitzgerald. Inscription by "Margarit By".
