Half leather binding with marbled boards and endpapers. Exemplaire 17/20 of editions printed on Holland paper. Many pages left untrimmed; volume is 24.5 x 23 cm due to number of larger pages. Act 1 itle page (following 30 introductory pages) left untrimmed, features a pencil and watercolor illustration of the three witches on the heath, signed "Carlos Schwab" [sic]. (Swiss artist Carlos Schwabe had previously illustrated Maurice Maeterlinck's play Pelléas et Mélisande.)
