To Katharine Cornell and Guthrie McClintic, written a week after the Broadway opening of Antony and Cleopatra, in which Laurence Olivier and Vivien Leigh played the title roles and Helpmann played Octavius Caesar. "It was sweet of you to think of us for our two first nights [A&C ran in repertory with Shaw's Caesar and Cleopatra. ] I was extremely nervous, but thank goodness it seems to have been received beyond our wildest dreams." Dimensions ten and a half by seven and a quarter inches."
