Summary
Vellum deed in English with calligraphic decoration and leading two words, the parties involved including William Shakespeare the younger, William Knight, Samuel Hill, John Tibbetts, Thomas Reeve, John Milbourne the younger, Nathaniell Rowse, and others on the one part, with Thomas Atwood of Rowington, on the other part, with further mention of 'William Shakespeare sonne of William Shakespeare the younger of Brookefurlonge [Farm]' and concerning land 'tilled or knowne by the name of Over Hodgefield' being part of land of Thomas Underhill of Rushbury.
Note
12 seal tags at foot but no seals present, signature 'William Shaksper' lower right.
