Summary
Forwarding Theobald's letter, and asking for assistance. 'Very likely you have seen my name in the papers. It has been a terrific ordeal & yet - if it leads to final victory for Truth & Justice for Mrs. Gallup & Francis Tudor & several other great Causes, I have very much at heart, I shall feel that it has not been in vain.' She asks if the recipient has 'ever worked out a Bacon-horoscope', and gives her preferences should one be sent to her. She comments on Theobald's letter, claiming that she has 'never heard of Frau Elinor von Le Coq, (what a curious combination of German, English & French!) in Berlin', and expressing satisfaction that her 'German book [...] which contains some important illustrations [...] is not entirely forgotten'. She can find 'no horoscope' in Kniepf's book, '& so much of his evidence is so unconvincing to me that I never could make myself read it; tiny devils' heads & faces in scroll-work etc. which I simply can not vouch for'. A postscript concerns the attendance of 'Mr. & Mrs. Austin' at her 'lecture'.
