Summary
The main subject is a reference in one of her books to 'Bacon's horoscope, as given by Albert Kniepf of Hamburg'. He states that he has 'consulted various first-rate Astrologers in England, but they do not seem able, or willing to take the trouble, to calculate it, seeing that the birth data are so uncertain.' He refers to Bacon's 'cipher narrative', and asks to see Kniepf's horoscope. Other topics include: Frau Elinor von le Coq of Berlin, whose acquaintance he has just made; Harold Bayley's book 'The Tragedy of Sir Francis Bacon'; his own 'Francis Bacon Concealed and Revealed'; von Blomberg's 'Bacon-Shakespeare, Der Wahrheit die Ehre'. The letter ends: 'The good work is going on here in England, slowly but surely, & I hope in other parts of the world too. That little book of Alfred Dodd's is helping us very much.'
