Two inscriptions in the same hand: "Given me by Miss Alworthy, 1813" effaced; "Given me by Miss Holmes, 1813." A few manuscript notes. In contemporary gold-tooled red leather (goatskin?) binding, gilt edges, interleaved, with writing tables, metal clasps, and stylus; marbled endpapers. Acquired from Christopher Edwards, 2013-11-22. Adopted by Helen and David Kenney, in honor of Evna, our iphone princess, Acquisitions Night 2015.
