In early reinforced vellum; gold-stamped red leather label and tooling on spine. Autograph letter signed from Antoine Séguier (the book's dedicatee) to Monseigneur de Luxembourg, duc de Piney et pair de France tipped onto front paste-down endpaper (cataloged separately). A few manuscript notes to text; underscoring. The two double plates at 3S1 and 3T1 reported in other copies are lacking as well as the final gathering ã².
