The four volumes described were listed in the Sotheby sale of Frederic Ouvry's library, March 30, 1882 (lot 275) and later owned by Archibald Philip Primrose, Earl of Rosebery. The volumes are now in the collection of the Folger Shakespeare Library. The contents of v. 1 and 2 have been removed from these volumes (although many of the disbound broadsides are also in the Folger collection); v. 3 and 4 remain largely intact, with only a few items removed.
