Note
[2] blank leaves, leaves 9-13, [28] blank leaves.
Most likely written for a Jacobean restaging of Shakespeare's The Tempest.
Originally leaves 9-13 were among loose papers that Playford copied for the old Jewry Music Society then he assembled some of the papers into an incomplete set of part books. The leaves were then removed from four Playford part books now in the Euing Music Collection at the University of Glasgow Library, R.d.58-61. Leaves 9-13 are accidentally consecutive.
Songs listed in Folger index of first lines of poems.
