Scope and content
Contains recipes, Biblical notes, an account of the last days and the funeral of Mary, Queen of Scots, prayers and homilies, etc. Partly in the hand of Anne Denton (1548-1566), "Sum Annae Denton & amicorum." An early mention of Ledbury suggests its origin there. "Johannes Willison natus Ledburiae in ipso festo die Annuntiationis beate Mariae Anno domini 1544 moritur 21 Junis 1553 . . . "
