A note on the cover [in J.P. Kemble's hand] reads: Mr. King. Nov. 12th 1794. The only season in which Thomas King played Falstaff, and then only in Part I, was at Haymarket, August - September, 1792.
Note by H.H. Dowton that this Part was the property of William Dowton and belonged to Thomas King in 1794. Some of the additions are apparently in William Dowton's hand.
