Note
Possibly a cider mug, as used at the great Jubilee in Stratford 1769. On one side, a portrait of the poet titled, "The Immortal Shakespeare" with Shakespeare indicating text from the Tempest. On the other side, two lovers sit beneath a tree labeled "Shakespeare's Mulberry Tree" as the man reads Shakespeare's Sonnets to his lover. The view of the Mulberry Tree is the only known recorded image, according to Richard Savage.
The mug is cracked and chipped in several places.
