No. 29 criticizes [Colley] Cibber; no. 33 apologizes for his frequent references to Shakespeare; no. 37 mentions the opening night of Drury Lane and his intention of making his first appearance in Benedict the married man; no. 42 his playing of Lothario; and several the controversy aroused by the French players. No. 36 contains a postscript of Mrs. Garrick's. No. 27 quotes Mr. Moore's lines to Mrs. Garrick beginning Fine binding! and but little in't!
