On A1r of the latter register this title is repeated in a caption title and pagination recommences. "The historie of Irelande ... vnto the yeare 1509. Collected by Raphaell Holinshed, and continued till the yeare 1547. by Richarde Stanyhurst" has separate title page, foliation, and register. "The historie of Irelande" (caption title) has separate pagination and register. Leaf 126 of the first series misnumbered 124. Leaves E6-8 of the last series are intended to be cancelled. F7 of the last series is a cancel (recto catchword "vpon"; cancellandum "impouerish"). F7 cancel has two states; recto begins (1) "the Belweathers" or (2) "the chiefe meanes". With a final errata leaf (⁴[K]1) covering the Scotland and Ireland sections.
Vol. 2 has title "The laste volume of the Chronicles of England, Scotlande, and Irelande".
