The plate is a quarto-sized general title page, undated, with title "The legend of Captaine Jones: the first & 2d. part", and with a re-engraved imprint "printed for Edward Okes and Fra: Haley 1671". This title page originally appeared as an additional engraved title page in the edition of 1648 (Wing L2630) with imprint "printed for R. Marriott & are sould at his shop under ye Kings head Tavern in Fleetstreet neare Chancery-lane end.". The plate is signed: William Marshall sculpsit.
Part 2 has separate dated title page; pagination and register are continuous.
