Bound in contemporary dark brown goatskin with double gilt panel, a crest type ornament in each corner incorporating coronet, wings and unidentified monogram, an ornament in the center of the sides of the outer panel of two corner tools placed back to back and smaller ornaments at head and foot of outer panel. Gilt panel spine with crest type ornament, with binder's title: Almanacks MDCLXXXXVI. Provenance: inscription on front fly-leaf of collected volume: "J.G. Limp wallet-style sheepskin binding with yapp edges; manuscript markings on binding: including "Bb Wm" on upper board and "1779" on lower board.
