Begins on leaf 295 of collected volume. Leaf M1 torn and repaired, affecting text. Cropped, affecting headlines and printed notes at margins. Bound in an extra-illustrated collected volume with spine title: "Holy Bible 1668", consisting of biblical and liturgical works and fragments of works ca. 1635-1670, including Speed's Genealogies, Downame's A brief concordance, an Apocrypha and Sternhold and Hopkins' Psalms, with most of the biblical text replaced by various illustrations, including scenes from the book of Genesis, the Gospels and Acts. Also interleaved in this volume are various biblical illustrations, some from an unknown German source, and various portraits of biblical, religious and contemporary figures by Hollar, Peter Stent, Glover, Faithorne, Vaughan and other engravers sold by William and Roger Beake and Ro: Walton. Manuscript ruled in red. Deluxe grained goatskin binding, with gilt pomergranate and pineapple cornerpieces and blind centerpiece ca. 1700.
